Borrowers initially interact with the POS in one of two different ways:

  1. Using your POS link
  2. Being invited to the POS from a loan file

POS Link

Every company account in ARIVE has it's own unique POS URL, and each individual LO also has their own personal POS URL which assigns loan files created through it to them. When clicking this link, a prospective borrower is taken to the ARIVE Borrower Portal and prompted to create an account or log into an existing one. This is the perfect link to put on your website or in your email signature.

You can copy your personal POS URL to your clipboard and be able to paste it anywhere you want by clicking your profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then clicking the small Copy icon next to where it says Borrower Portal.

For more information about different POS URLs and how they work, see this support article.

Invited to the POS

If you already have a loan file going for a borrower, either through an imported 3.4 or a loan created manually in the LOS, you can invite the borrower to the POS by clicking the Invite Borrower link in the upper left corner of the loan file.

After clicking Invite Borrower, you can choose whether you want to invite them to complete the entire 1003 (Full Application), or bypass that and go straight to the Borrower Portal to respond to client needs (Document Only). You can also edit the invite emails before sending them if you wish.

The email this generates is shown below. When the borrower clicks the button, they are prompted to create an account, and then are brought to the beginning of the 1003 (if you selected Full Application) or to the Task List (if you selected Document Only).
