ARIVE's automatic email and SMS templates can be configured to send reminders to your borrowers to complete their loan application and/or client needs. These reminders can be set for all loan files, but the reminders can also be customized for individual loan files.
Enable & Customize Reminders for All Loans
Email and SMS configurations for all loans will be set via the Email/SMS Templates screen. You can find this tab in Company Settings, Branch Settings (if applicable as not all organizations have branches), and/or User Settings.
1. Click your profile icon and select the preferred settings (Company Settings, Branch Settings, or User Settings).
If you are trying to navigate to the Branch Settings, you may need to first select the branch using the building icon to the left of your profile icon. Then, click the profile icon and click Branch Settings.
2. Click Email/SMS Templates from the menu on the left.
3. You'll find the reminder templates under the Borrower Tasks section.
4. You can enable the email and/or SMS templates by clicking the toggle to turn it blue or turn it gray to disable the template under the respective Email Template or SMS Template columns.
5. Click the gear icon at the right end of the templates row to adjust the timing of Start Reminder After and Send Reminder For. Each setting goes from 1 day to 15 days. Click the applicable menu to make adjustments and click Save.
Start Reminder After - The number of days you'd like to pass before the initial reminder is sent.
Send Reminder For - The number of consecutive days you would like to send the reminder for.
Enable & Customize Reminders for a Specific Loan
The reminders can be customized for specific loans. Within a loan, the reminders can enabled and disabled, and/or, the timing can be adjusted. If these items are adjusted within the loan file, then the adjustments will override the settings and only apply to the specific loan.
1. Navigate to your loan > Loan Center.
2. Click Actions and select Notification & Reminder Settings.
3. You'll get a popup screen where you can enable/disable or adjust the timing of the reminder.
Start After - The number of days you'd like to pass before the initial reminder is sent.
Send For - The number of consecutive days you would like to send the reminder for.
4. If you made any changes, click Save.
If Enabled, Reminders Will Not Be Sent Scenarios
Application reminders will stop in the below scenarios:
- borrower submits the application
- max number of reminders is sent
- application is taken over by LO
- reminders are disabled within the loan
- loan is in the Docs Signed status or beyond
Client needs reminders will stop in the below scenarios:
- borrower uploads all of the client needs
- max number of reminders is sent
- reminders are disabled in the loan
