Due to the sensitive nature of customer data inevitably contained in LOS systems, all users are required to set up Multi-Factor Authentication.

When setting up your MFA, you can choose between using an Authenticator App or SMS Text authentication.

Authenticator App:

To use an Authenticator app for multi-factor authentication, first download the authenticator app of your choice from your mobile device's app store. Available authenticator apps include Google Authenticator, Authy, Auth0 Guardian, Microsoft Authenticator, and others.

Open the authenticator app and use it to scan the QR code you are shown.

Important: You must scan the QR code through the authenticator app. Using your phone's camera app instead of the authenticator app will not work.

SMS Text Authentication:

If you prefer to use text-based authentication, click I'd rather use SMS. You'll be prompted to enter your phone number, and then enter the 6-digit code the system sends you by text.

Important: Enter your phone number without country code, dashes, or spaces.

Once you've done either of these, your MFA is set up. Each time you log in, you will be prompted to enter the 6-digit code shown in your Authenticator App, or the 6-digit code texted to your phone (depending on which you set up).

When you set up your MFA, you will be shown a recovery code and prompted to save it. This is not essential, as you will also always have the option to reset your MFA via email.

If you ever lose access to your MFA device, or need to reset your MFA for any other reason, just click the Reset your MFA link on your login screen. This will send you a MFA reset email, containing a link that when clicked will prompt you to set up your MFA again.
